Black Hawk: Straight to hell

BLACK HAWK sind in den letzten Jahren richtig fleißig und legen im 29. Jahr ihres Bestehens das 4. volle Album (nach einer Mini in 1988) vor. Natürlich ist wieder True Metal Trumpf. Der überragende Song von "Straight to hell" ist sicherlich "Seven years of pain". Ein Videoclip hierzu ist Pflicht und von der Band auch geplant. Sofern es nicht am Geld scheitert. So einen Song schreiben viele Bands nur einmal, aber hoffen wir, daß das BLACK HAWK noch viel öfter tun werden. Aber auch der Rest ist nicht von schlechten Eltern. True Metal im Stile von JUDAS PRIEST und SAXON mit einem ganz starkein 80er Deutsch Metal-Einfluss ist doch immer schön. Cover (Markus Vesper) und Booklet sind auch gelungen und so heißt es klar: Daumen nach oben für BLACK HAWK!

BLACK HAWK worked more in the last 5 years than in the last 24 years before. The fourth real album (after an EP) is "Straight trough hell". Of course you will get what you expect. True Metal with influences of SAXON, JUDAS PRIEST and a lot of German 80s. The "over the top"-song for sure is "Seven years of pain". A really powerful and emotional heavy song with interesting lyrics waiting to be produced as a video-clip too. The other songs are fine too and show strong musicianship and the essence of what we expect from German Metal including a perfect fitting cover artwork from Markus Vesper. So thumbs up for BLACK HAWK!
