Review

Though on the cover the track "Eagles in the air" is mentioned first, on the vinyl it's just the B-side. Just for info, nevertheless this private single of the Emmingen based ACCESS looks kinda fascinating in the eyes of German Metal collectors, but the truth behind it looks like that both songs sadly aren't any outstanding highlights in the history of german steel. "The turner" is starting with slow, slightly melodic and trying to sound epic (in sense of epic for pedestrians) in the refrain Hard Rock. That kind of Hard Rock that doesn't let you show any kind of emotion, just boring. On the flipside it looks different. Here ACCESS do at least offer solid typically german sounding Heavy Metal like it was modern around 1984/85 (there is no year of release mentioned). But not even this track is able to break out of the average standard Metal scheme. If you like that 08/15 German Metal then try this single, otherwise you might buy ice cream instead. The effect is almost the same - short refreshment for a second but the ice cream tastes alot better ...
