10 Jahre sind mittlerweile vergangen, seitdem die Band mit "Shadows of the past" eine sehr gute Truemetal-CD veröffentlicht hatte. Nun ist es doch passiert, das Nachfolgealbum erblickte das Licht der Welt. Damit hätte wohl niemand mehr gerechnet. Um so neugieriger ist man natürlich auf die Songs. Und was soll ich sagen, man wird nicht enttäuscht. Die Band gibt sich keinen Experimenten hin, noch jagt man irgendwelchen Trends hinterher. Reinster melodischer Metal im Stil von Iron Maiden umstreicht sanft die Öhrlein. Und genau so waren auch meine Erwartungen an die neue Scheibe. Trotz des Wechsels der beiden Axtmänner ist ist man musikalisch genau in der Spur geblieben. Eine sehr gute Produktion rundet die Sache dann noch ab. Schade, dass nach 6 Songs schon Schluss ist. Aber die Band hat als Hidden-track noch einen Klassiker mit dazugepackt... natürlich von Maiden... was auch sonst. Mehr wird nicht verraten. Wer das erste Album bereits sein Eigen nennt, sollte auch hier schnell zuschlagen. Vielleicht bereits in kurzer Zeit die nächste Rarität aus Frankreich!!??

10 years have passed since their good True Metal CD "Shadows Of The Past" and now finally its follow-up sees the light of day. Something nobody would have expected I guess. But as a consequence I am even more curious to get to hear the new songs. And what shall I say I didn't get disappointed for there are no experiments nor any trendy music. Purest Melodic Metal in the vein of Iron Maiden caresses my ears and absolutely fulfills my expectations. Despite the replacement of both axemen the guys stayed on track musically and didn't change anything. The very good production completes this album. What a pity that this CD only contains six tracks. But they have included a classic as hidden track...a Maiden track of course...sorry but I won't give you any further information. If you should own the first album of this band you ought to get this one immediately as well. May be the next forthcoming rarity from France!!!???
