Review

For the first time Detto appeared on the Rockmapa 2 Compilation LP back in 1990 with a strange Rock'n'Speed Metal track.
Back then this EP was realized by a small label from Brno. I never heard about that one before and especially during those times a kind of private record was very rare in Eastern Europe.
Below the logo you can find the term "Crazy Metal" - but you should better get it out of your head again. On this EP Detto played typically Czech Thrash Metal with weakly modern influences - better let's call it Power/Thrash. You will find some wild outbursts of raw energy and then itÂ’s going back to the midtempo speed while starting the thrashing some minutes later again...it is more exciting than the track on the compilation LP. All in all I would compare Detto with Arakain on their first album. A nice 7" to look for...
