Vastator: Hell only knows

VASTATOR, das ist schon wieder ein Name, der einen an irgendeine Death Metal-Band mit unleserlichem Schriftzug denken läßt. Doch das ist tatsächlich nicht richtig. VASTATOR spielen traditionellen (Speed) Metal im typischen 80er Gewand mit satanischen Lyrics und ebensolchem Image. Da es sich schon um das dritte Album der Band handelt kann man davon ausgehen, daß eine gewisse Professionalität vorherrscht, zudem man schon seit 1987 aktiv ist. Meistens ist die Band, neben dramatischen Parts auch gesangstechnisch tief im US-Power/Speed Metal-Bereich. Daß die Band AGENT STEEL gehört hat, kann sie nicht verleugnen. Für die entsprechende Hörerschaft sicher eine sehr interessante Sache.

Traditional Speed Metal with typical 80s satanic image. Since 1987 the band is active, so you can imagine that the music is quite professional and because "Hell only knows" is their third album, also production and songwriting are better than in the albums before. With sometimes slower dramatic parts and sometimes more speedy AGENT STEEL-like songs (especially in the vocals) its interesting stuff especially for US-Metal-fans.
