Perennial: In my Dreams

Auch wenn "In my Dreams" auf einem Label und nicht mehr als Eigenpressung veröffentlicht wurde, ist das Album um einiges seltener und damit teurer als das Debüt. Musikalisch haben sich Perennial auf die Mainstream/Melodic Schiene verlegt, was mit dem 60s-lastigen Schmuserocker "It's only make believe" schon fast im Schmalztopf endet. Ansonsten gibt's viele mehrstimmige Parts, akustische Gitarren und auf dem Backcover ein Bandmitglied mit Rose in der Hand. Versteht mich nicht falsch: "In my Dreams" ist eine gute Scheibe, die aber mit Metal oder Hard Rock fast nichts mehr zu tun hat.

"In my Dreams" was released on a small label, but in contrast to the privately released debut, it's much more expensive. Musically, you'll get Mainstrem/Melodic Rock, no more Metal. Softest song is "It's only make believe", which sounds like coming straight from the 60's. The rest of the album contains many parts arranged for several voices, acoustic guitars and on the backcover a member of the band carrying a rose. Don't get me wrong: Perennial's "In my Dreams" is a really good album, but has almost nothing to do with Metal or even Hard Rock.
