Blessed Virgin: Heavy Metal

Austrian Metal pioneers with their sadly only vinyl. While the early austrian scene was often associated with mainly U8, GALLOWS POLE and NO BROS, there are also some underrated and overlooked bands like in this case BLESSED VIRGIN to discover. Both tracks are stylistically in the vein of U8 as well while the B-side "Nightmare" offers strong NWOBHM influences. Rough production on one hand and catchy songwriting on the other making this 7" a highly enjoyable item well worth searching for, especially and that's the positive aspect, when you can come by copies for about 5 Euros easily.
