Review

VICIOUS CIRCLE aren't any no names in the Aussie HC/Crossover scene. Together with DEPRESSION I'd consider them the leading force, at least when it came to album releases. "Into the void" was a late LP of them and it's the one with most Metal influences. Pretty technical stuff for a HC band at least, Crossover fits the best. Some old HC roots and many melodic Thrash parts making "Into the void" the VICIOUS CIRCLE album that's perhaps the most enjoyable for Metal fans though I like all of their LP's/EP's even their very early ones featuring pure thrashy HC. If you need any bands to compare then just take the CRUMBSUCKERS on "B.O.M.B." including Notaro's vocals. Unfortunately it's the V.C. record that just hardly turns up. Waterfront Records probably did only press 500 copies (that's what I heard), their Reactor Records vinyls are way easier to find.
