Review

This baby hit me like a hammerblow. Not that I've never seen this private LP before (not even the Aussie Metal Guide mentions them) but also that according to their excellent style and musicial performance this LP isn't even half as known as they indeed deserve it. Since I cannot find any label anywhere I bet they'd press it privately and sold most of the copies in their area (Sydney) so don't expect a huge quantity to be spread outside of Australia. REIGN acted somewhere in the middle of AORish Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, using massive keyboards and heavy guitars as well and this way creating a very atmospheric yet catchy Pop Metal sound while you shouldn't only judge by reading the term Pop Metal but try to listen coz the self titled album full of secret hits stands easily on the top of the foodchain of aussie Melodic Metal. The vocalist was also responsible for the guitar solos and he did each of both jobs with alot of passion and talent. What else is left to say than get this if you can!? Just try to get it...
