Review

Debut 4-track MLP released 3 years prior to the more thrash oriented Let Us Prey LP this one take on a galloping and traditional approach along slightly more melodic lines. Each of the 4 tracks on offer kicks some serious metal ass -from the opening gallop of No Rest, to the slower clean sounding second track Old Man which contains some ripping leads and builds to a galloping midsection. Side B opener and title track has a typical razor sharp metal riff transforming into some pummeling double kick and chug for the chorus and delivering restrained quite moments for the midsection. The Curse starts slowly utilizing melodic harmonized guitar lines with the pace picking up once again with a backbone of double kick frenzy. Pick up this piece of Australian metal history and be treated to a killer MLP from one of the great Aussie metal bands from the 80's.
