Of corpse the METAL MERCENARIES 7" isn't any undiscovered local private Metal gem, though I don't understand who got the idea to call this outfit METAL Mercenaries??? Your breath immediately freezes when you behold the band members looking like any New Wave/Indie troop, at least one of 'em wears a bullet belt around his shoulder. So what can you expect? Surprisingly the title track is a Metal connected midpaced Hard Rocker with indie/Punk touch during the refrain but indeed listenable. Unfortunately the B side reveals their alter ego, psychedelic Indie Rock/New Wave Scheißendreck. An ultra rare single for Aussie Metal completists only. Who really needs bands like them? Noone!
