Along with Mortal Sin, Hobb's Angel Of Death and a handful of others, Massive Appendage were on the frontline of the Australian thrash scene in the late 80's. At first glance one might write this LP off as a cheap punk record but flip over the cover and you will see Snuff, Jed, Oxx & Big Bird -4 very metal looking longhaired characters who leave no question as to what genre of music their band deal in. Churning out intricate, speedy and sometimes tuneful thrash with mighty crude, humorous lyrics (check out the song titles) interspersed with occasional clean crisp acoustic guitar interludes. The cover art is guaranteed to draw attention and raise eyebrows and for some may be worth the price of admission alone.
