Mittlerweile ist mir klar geworden wieso diese Scheibe fast unauffindbar ist. Es gibt 2 Angaben über die mögliche Auflage, einmal wird von 250 Stück und einmal von 500 gesprochen. Ganz egal ob nun 250 oder 500 Stück, die LP ist megarar und irgendwie auch ein Teil australischer Thrash history. Das Line-up gestaltete sich fast identisch mit dem von Kings Cross und Massive Appendage, nur mit dem Unterschied dass hier ein kleiner Doppelbock names Alfie Fester rumbrüllt und dafür Big Bird (Matt McCormack) nicht im Line-up zu finden ist. Ansonsten geht's hier locker flockig crossoverthrashend zur Sache, haargenau wie bei Massive Appendage, nur dass Alfie Fester's Vocals deutlich erträglicher wahrgenommen werden und Jed Star (Darren McCormack) sich, wie bereits gewohnt, wieder einen Wolf fidelt, dass mir bald die Birne platzt und ich mich frage wie der Typ sich all die Soli merken konnte, er spielte ja in 3 Bands gleichzeitig zu dieser Zeit den Leadgitarrero! Aber egal, "What choice do we have?" zählt neben "Nuclear death" von Aggressa zu den rarsten Thrash Scheiben des australischen Kontinents und glaubt nicht etwa ihr könnt das Teil als Thrash Fans ignorieren...keine Chance Leute!!

I've been searching for this record since quite some years, already thought it's just a myth or something but luckily I got my hands on a pretty expensive copy a few months ago finally. The quantity isn't clear yet, there are 2 sources, one speaking about 250 copies and the other one about 500 copies, but after all even a 500 copy edition is quite low and explains why this vinyl almost never turns up. The line up is almost similar to Kings Cross or Massive Appendage, the other bands of the McCormack bros, just that the one-man-gang Alfie Fester is "singing" on "What choice do we have?" and Big Bird (Matt McCormack) can't be found here. But it doesn't matters at all, these guys do sound exactly like Massive Appendage on their album "The severed erection" just with better vocals. A crazy Crossover/Thrash mix with hundreds of weird solos and gimmicks which is quite usual for Jed Star (Darren McCormack), their lead guitarist. Besides Aggressa's "Nuclear death", "What choice do we have?" belongs to the rarest aussie Thrash vinyls and if you as a Thrash fan think you can ignore this one I can only say NO FUCKIN' CHANCE my friend!
