Hellhammer ! Australian Metal strikes back! Allerdings sind US-Metallische Power-Einflüsse diesmal noch stärker. Zum Glück weit besser als DUNGEONs letztes Album. So hätten sich wahrscheinlich einige "one step beyond" gewünscht, welches doch sehr tralala-mäßig ausgefallen ist. Bei DUNGEON muß man doch auf "Ressurection" zurückgreifen. Ansonsten greifen die US-Power Metal-Freaks zu "Hellhammer". Ich sage bewußt US-Power Metal-freaks, da hier die europäischen Komponenten komplett fehlen und das Album eher Power als melodieorientiert ist (sieht man mal von "Up against the world up" -mein favourisierter Song), was melodic-Metal-freaks wie mich stört, aber keine Qualitätsaussage darstellen soll.
Power Metal with strong US-influences. "Up against the world" is a very strong Ballad and my favourite song as I usually prefer european melodyline-influences and there are not too many on the album, but the ballad is one of the best I heard for a long time.
This album is much better than the last DUNGEON release for example.
