Review

4 songs from the recording sessions of 'Endangered Species' LP. This EP contains 2 tracks lifted straight from the LP - the catchy hard rocker No Warning as the A side and Running Hot Running Wild. Of main interest to collectors will be the two non 'Endangered Species' LP tracks. Man Of Metal - an ode to the original Australian folklore man of steel Ned Kelly and Hellhouse a hard rocking rollercoaster ride complete with creepy sound effects no doubt the end result from some studio tomfoolery & experimentation. Interesting trivia: The 'Gypsy' slogan on the drummers kick drum on the front cover photo was the pre - Black Alice moniker. Harder to come by than their full LP, those who like traditional metal / hard rock (somewhere between early Whitesnake & Nazareth), raspy Brian Johnson cutting vocal tones or tasty guitar lines will find something to enjoy here.
