Rock in the moonlight
Seperate reality
Illusions
Forces
The Californians White Light are another example for the countless american Hard Rock bands who released their records privately without getting any acceptance or even knowledge in collectors circles, otherwise I can't explain why this record is that unknown and especially so ultra cheap when a copy surfaces. Musically a dream of a mix of 70's Pomp Rock, classic Hard Rock, Prog Rock and even early Metal with an cultic raw sound. Imagine a mixture of the wellknown Queen classix and early US bands like Winterkat or Messendger and you'll get a little clue of what White Light do sound alike. Still to mention the over the top velvet and fantastic vocal parts of Harry Blackstone III. as well as the amazing guitar job Jeff Brown did. If you're into pompy/proggy Hard Rock then I just can force you to try "Forces" coz I'm sure you'll find another fascinating yet obscure anthem from the early 80's US Hard Rock scene.
