"Look into my eyes... I am MONSTER... you must worship me!"
Yup, the simplistic yet neat nature of the cover art is bound to catch your eye and the album wastes no time casting its hooks into you right from the start. "Pouta" is a riff-a-licious, perfect pounding opener and my doG the following "Nepsanej Zákon" is fucking perfect! So one might get a bit allergic to "Justice.."/Black Album-worship after enduring the first few hundred clones, but this is and excellent exception. This chorusmonster will eat your Metal heart and spit out the gooey bits on your livingroom carpet. And then... it continues to be good, never bad and even great once we reach the title track, which epitomizes the Metallica-meets-Accept formula in the best of ways: good acoustic parts, solid chugging and awesome hockey-choirs (wait, did I just Swenglish? Does that even make sense in the English-speaking world bar Canada? Äsch, never mind..)
So it's your typical downward slope of an album, but a likeable one and they do a good job carrying on the legacy of olde nationals like Kreyson and Kern, so fans of Czech Steel need not hesitate.
