POWERMAD rulen forever, glaubt's mir.
Purchase this record before it becomes a rare!!! Little by little, this U.S. Metal classic is fading away from the shops, mailorders and conventions' stands...and if someone has the way to remaster it on cd...well he's welcome!
"Absolute Power" is one of the most powerful devastating Heavy Metal pieces of late 80s, and songs like the title track (one of the most thrashy) and the apocalyptic "Slaughter house" are still killers! I think moments like "Nice Dreams" remind of some Metal Church or (above all) Sword, keeping the same skill and class.
In Italy, "Slaughter House" was the jingle for the tv-program "Italia 1 Action", a weekly carousel of movies (action and sci-fi) which has been broadcast during the first 90s (In Germany it was the TV - Jingle for "MTV at the movies", a TV Spot for "Focus" Magazine and it was the title track of the US movie "Wild at heart" with Nicolas Cage, revealing Nicolas is a total POWERMAD Maniac!! Don't miss this!! - Roman). One more reason to discover this lost gem. Only for serious bangers!
