While Azra Records might have been the motherlabel, Iron Works is definitely the A-label among in the Azra-family, at least as far as Heavy Metal goes. Me I'd definitely rank them among the 5 best Metal labels from the American 80's and I doubt many US Metal fans and collectors would disagree.
Surprisingly enough it wasn't that hard to track their catalogue compared to most of its sibling labels, but by the early 90's things get a bit more difficult. There's also a bit of confusion as to what was the first release of the label, since a few of the early releases with the Iron Works label credit didn't use the regular IW 10##-system.
