Exactly what kind of mushroom the label name and logo is referring to I do not know, but I'm possitive it's a highly poisonous one. A true cult label among fans and collectors of the extreme 80's, this Brazilian enterprise's output is huge and whole lot more diverse than most people are aware of. They're still active, but obviously I'm not gonna cover their complete discography up until today since a lot of it is off-topic for The Corroseum. I'm still going above and beyond the call of duty on this one, you'll see...

Some notes concerning their quirky catalogue systems:

• At first there was the COG 0XX-system, going from COG 002 to COG089 (1985/86 to 1997 I think). I've covered this right below up until the very last vinyl release, even if it's mostly Death, Black and other off-topic stuff at the end.
  
  
• Parallell to this they also made 11 releases tagged COGD-0XX during the years 1991 to 1994 - why I don't know (perhaps it was their "budget projects" list?) I've included all of these here, even though it's once again mostly Death/Black stuff - at least most of them were released on vinyl.
  
  
• The 44.C.0XX-series seem to be mostly CD reissues of earlier vinyl releases, with the exception of the very first 44.C.001-release which was the standalone SEPULTURA - Bestial Devastation reissue LP. Usually these ones also carries a CD.COG0XX-number, coinciding with the original LP release, even if there's often years inbetween the release of each version. I've only mentioned these in passing below, in the few cases that the CD and vinyl was released around the same time (i.e. they wouldn't be considered reissues).
  
  
• Releases from 1998 and onwards are tagged CG00XX. All of them are CDs and a lot of them are reissues, so I'm not listing them here.
