Avanzada Metalica was Mexico's first independent Metal label, founded by Georgui Lazarov and Carlos Hernandez, 2 journalists working at the rock magazine Connecte. They also started Mexico's first real Metal fanzine, Heavy Metal Subterraneo. I'm not 100% sure but I think they're still active.
In the early 90's they stared focusing more on Death/Black Metal and here's where their discography also becomes rather difficult to follow, partly because they also started releasing demo tapes (which have a tendency to disappear from the face of the earth way quicker than any rare vinyl would). For the moment their 1987-1991 vinyl period seems like the best era for The Corroseum to cover.
