Goathrone

Yet another Athens-based, one-demo Black Metal band featuring multi-instrumentalist Voreas [RIP 2022] (guitars, bass – Βάκχειος, DARK MIGHTY THOUGHT, DRUTENTUS, etc.) – this time teaming up with the equally creative Necrolord (vocals, guitars, keyboards –NAER MATARON, VORPHALACK, WAMPYRINACHT, etc.) The duo’s sole release, entitled “Demo ‘96” – initially released on Voreas’ own Druvid Promotion and subsequently re-released as “…for His Glory” on Demonion Productions – operates in a similar vein to Voreas other endeavors. Perhaps with a somewhat rawer approach, but still with that subtle hint of melody which permeates the works of both DRUTENTUS and Βάκχειος, although with less of a folk vibe compared to the latter two.
