Another obscure entry from the early 1990s Athenian Heavy Metal scene, DYING WISH was founded in 1992 with a lineup including: Giannis (vocals), Sakis (guitars), Kostas (bass), Spyros (drums) and Alexis (keyboards).

Although we haven’t been able to locate their music, there are some information to be extracted from old fanzine interviews. Judging by their musical predilections (SARISSA, DENIAL FATE, WARLORD, etc.) and choice of subject matters, DYING WISH seems lean towards Epic Heavy Metal. The band performed at least two gigs in Athens around 1993-94 and also had plans to record a demo entitled “The Gathering”. Whether this release ever materialized, we do not know.
