Drunk Earth

During their relatively short existance (2004-2006), Athens-based DRUNK EARTH delivered punk-oozing and ecclectic Heavy Metal. The band was formed by the ever-so-active Nikos “Wrath” Spanakis (vocals – DØDSFERD, GRAB, NADIWRATH, Fucking Your Creation Records, etc.) along with War (guitars) and Bacchus (bass – DØDSFERD, GRAB). Their sole three-track demo “Returnable Bottle” was issued in 2006 by the Greece-based Fistbang Records on which session musician Labyss (drums – DEVISER) also participated.

In addition to the obvious MOTÖRHEAD influence, DRUNK EARTH built their sound from a mixture of Heavy Metal, blackened Thrash riffs, schreechy vocals and groovier Stoner Rock parts that even brings to mind old Grunge bands at certain moments.

After a three-year hiatus, Wrath decided to re-form the band with different members under the new monicker DRUNKEN MOTHERFUCKERS. A single full-length album of drunkard Stoner Rock/Metal was recorded before the party was over in 2014.
