Dremion

DREMION was a mid-1990s Black Metal band/project, consisting of future ELYSIAN FIELDS guitarist/keyboardist Marinos Anassis (vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards) and drummer Costas Ch. Despite only releasing a single three-track demo-tape (with very plain artwork) called “The Haunted Forest” (1996), DREMION managed to garner a little bit of attention by being championed as the “demo of the month” in “Heavy Metal & Metal Hammer” in late-1996.

DREMION did in fact stand out from many of their Black Metal countrymen at the time by adopting the kind of high-speed melodic Black Metal style normally associated with Northern Europe and Sweden in particular. Might be worth tracking down by disciples of early SACRAMENTUM, DAWN, NAGLFAR, etc.
