DIVINE FAILURE was an Epic Heavy Metal band active in the late-1990s. The lineup included Markos Sklavos (vocals, guitars), Dimitris (bass), Petros Vaggios (drums) and Panos (keyboards). Sources tell us that the band was situated in Athens, but their only known demo tape “The Quest for the Golden Crown” (1999) was apparently recorded at Graffiti Studios – for all we know a Larissa-based studio which were also used by classic Progressive Metal bands like DENIAL PRICE, BLACK FATE and DORIAN GRAY.

“The Quest for the Golden Crown” consists of four relatively short compositions that could be described as keyboard-centered “garage” Fantasy/Epic Metal.
