DEATH DEVICE was a (surprise, surprise) Death Metal act formed in Argos Orestiko, West Macedonia – a town allegedly founded by Orestes (yes, THAT Orestes). The band appears to have been mostly active in the early 2000’s, with two demos released in 2000 and 2001 respectively. Musically, we’re dealing with fast and brutish Death Metal with a few nods to old masters like CELTIC FROST and SLAYER. What separates DEATH DEVICE from many similar bands in their field is that behind all the caveman-ish blasts and burps, hide traces of actual songs with plenty of hooks to make the tracks distinguishable from each other.
