Conflict X

Hailing from the Death Metal Mecca of Greece: Thessaloniki, CONFLICT X was formed in the early-to-mid-1990s and released two demo tapes packed with brutal Death Metal done the North American-way. Members included George Mamaliogas (vocals, bass – OPERTUM), Manolis Aggelis (guitars) and Kostas Boletis (drums – EMBRACE OF FEAR, INTO THE GORE and former editor of Moon’s Elegy Zine).

Both the self-titled debut (1994) and “Dead Set Statement” (1998) feature the usual gore business, but done with a wink in the eye (“Grind’n Roll”…). The band also made it onto at least two compilations, including the Greek “Wrath from Hades”- and German “Maxi Noise Sensation”-series.
