Granted, BEAUTY & THE BEAST is more of a “guilt by association”-case than the real deal. But having been featured on two relatively early and well-known Hellenic Metal compilations does warrant some kind of recognition, even though we’re dealing with rather trite and amateurish lite-Metal/Hard Rock.

With a monicker like B&tB, one would expect some kind of male/female dynamics to the procedures, and yes, there is a female vocalist present – at least on the “Greece Attacks” contribution + a few lines on one of the “Metal Gear” tracks (sounds like the backing vocals could’ve been done by Joanna Gian from DIVORCE). It doesn’t help much though, since the music is anything but exciting. What you get is repetitive-to-the-point-of-collapse sleaze-rock with terrible vocals.

Compilation appearances:
* Greece Attacks [2LP, Comp, Gatefold: FM, 1989]
* Metal Gear [LP, Comp: Molon Lave, 1990]
