Bathomet

BATHOMET was a one-timer side project created by DESOLATION/ETHEREAL-members Chris Asiminas (guitars, bass) and Vaggelis Zautsos (vocals, guitars). The music can be described as harsch, drum machine-driven Black Metal with an usually prominent bass guitar – in fact, for most of the time it’s the bass that provides whatever melody there is to be found. Their sole release – alternatively referred to as “Diable” or “Bathomet” – was released privately on CD in 1999 and later re-released by Unisound with alternative artwork.
