An album maybe not for this forum, but if you consider 2 members of the mighty Adramelch play here, then maybe it fits perfectly.
They label their music as Mediterranean art prog.
Masterful orchestrations, deep political lyrics and the unique amazing voice of Vittorio Ballerio.
Give it a listen. For me it is an amazing album, one of the best of the year!

Re: Caravaggio - We All We Are (2025)
Thanks for the tip vasilis, i'm about half way through & enjoying it so far.
The music's far more accessible than the 'art prog' description suggested, though it's definitely an ambitious, diverse, unusual & rather exotic sounding record.
Personally i'd have liked a few more heavy moments & a less polished singer may have given them more character, but it's definitely interesting music.

Vittorio Ballerio never hid his passion for progressive rock since the beginning of his career... i dare say he has a sort of dichotomy in his soul....half metal and half prog...it's not inusual to see him in the audience during prog concerts...let's not forget he started singing in middle 80's in some obscure prog bands...in this regard later this afternoon i will share a little gem pre Adramelch in the Poisonoise section...stay tuned!!!
