Was browsing facebook and this popped up in my feed... definitely very tempting to make the trip both for the old & new!
Is anyone here familiar with the organizer or the venue? Or has anyone here seen the older bands recently? How are they live?

220 Volt are playing over here (along with Wizzard) next weekend, might check 'em out. Supported them +10 years ago something, remember them as solid back then at least. Mindless Sinner are still absolutely amazing live, Axewitch pretty bad as far as I remember seing both of them quite recently.

Enforcer, Mindless Sinner and Helvetets Port are the bands worth watching here.

No... honestly this isn't a bad lineup or anything, but seems like the usual suspects that play Muskelrock every second year or so. Seven of the bands on the bill I've even watched here in Jönköping in the last few years.

Makes sense. Fun social event + too close to home for me to miss I figured.
...and I've never actually seen 220V live. Good, anyone? Or 80% later/wimpy stüffs?

More like 95% I'm afraid. Nothing like 20 years ago when they still had the first singer and based most of it on first single and album.

Real shame to hear about 220V.... guess I'll see If I end up making it, going to at least wait to see what The Abyss fest does this year (I think it's 2 weeks before???)

I saw them in Huskvarna in 2022, and the only pre 1985 song they played was Firefall. Then again, I have heard that "Prisoner of War" and "Sauron" have both been aired at other shows. So they might throw in some nice treats, but expect the vast majority of a set to be "Eye to Eye" and the new material.
