Hmm. It might help if you specify which exact regions/scenes you aren't as knowledgeable about so that way people who reply can specifically tell you some more insightful recommendations.

Wow.. That's a broad spectrum if I ever saw one. Judging from your previous threads/posts and your implied tastes, just on the tip of my mind:

ATTACK (Germany's most underrated)
DEFENDER (Absolutely flawless Euro-power masterpiece)
V/A - Norway Rocks (All-time kültiest Obsüre Power Metal comp evah' - ask ANYONE!)

Guessing based on the other posts in the thread, I'd say maybe:

Crom (Finland)
Crowley (Japan)
Enforce (Germany; did the demo "In Search of Wisdom")
Harfang
Orialix
Inherent Sin
Insane (Swedish Heavy/Speed/Melodic Metal)
Saber Tiger
Steel Angel (France; probably well known I'd think but I find they're pretty different compared to most French Metal bands, more US Power and German Speed influenced than most bands from France I think)
Tenebres (France)
Tyran' Pace
Victim (the East Germany one)
聖飢魔II (Seikima-II) - While being one of the most mainstream bands in Japan, I think western Metal fans overlook this band.
