Episode 2 is again pretty good, as said elsewhere it will surely crawl under one's skin. Christmas bonus, well, it's Christmas bonus. I wonder who covered Monster Magnet, cause MM it ain't.

No tracklist guessing games this time? I thought the songs on the current episodes were more easily recognisable than the previous one.

6. Healing Force - Golden Miles
7. Someone sings about a virgin queen
8. Slade - Them Kinda Monkeys Can't Swing
9. Resistencia - Resistencia
10. Nice instrumental, I have no clue who did it though.
11. Degenerated. Is this the original by Reagan Youth, or a cover? I can't tell.
12. Griffin - I Am The Noise In Your Head
13. Kinda thrashy, this is fucking great. I need to buy this.
14. Fist - S.S. Giro (as Axe, I think. From the Lead Weight comp?)
15. Bad Religion - I Want To Conquer The World
16. Sounds like Thin Lizzy, but Lizzy it sure ain't.

Damn, you're good Khnud! Glad you enjoyed it. And it seems you're just as knowledgable about the Psych stuff as the Metal. You even correctly attributed 'SS Giro' to Axe rather than Fist which would have been an entirely acceptable answer.
I won't give away the unidentified songs
just yet in case someone else wants to have a go at testing their knowledge, but i will clarify on 'Degenerated' for you that it is indeed a cover version by D-Generation.
On this showing I'm sure you'll know everything on the Xmas Special mini-episode when you get to it. I doff my Santa hat to you sir, very impressive.

I second that thrashy song as well, have grabbed my attention immediately. Still cannot believe GRIFFIN sound as they do on this one here.

Actually, I didn't know they were mentioned at MxC. In fact, most of the songs on these (excellent, I might add!) comps are completely unknown to me. It's just that I'm in the information business professionally, and pride myself with being able to find out just about anything given just a few pieces of information.

Different band. This Griffin hailed from the UK, it seems. They only released this single, in 1969.
