The Corroseum forum (new design under construction)

PARIAH were a classic heavy metal band from Belgium, releasing 2 demos (1983 & 1985), before changing their name in 1988 to PATRIACH & becoming more of a speed/thrash metal band. This demo by PARIAH (Their second, from 1985 called "Evil Wings") is just full of tasteful classic HM with an epic touch, taking some musical queues from Iron Maiden & such. The vocals are a little flat but got the job done nicely enough. 4 tracks in 20 minutes, restored & mastered from a 30 year old tape, although there are a few drop-outs on "The realms of Death" i couldn't quite fix properly due to tape deterioration.

I'm familiar with Patriarch but never heard any material from the previous version of the band.
