Metal Disciples (NJ,US) demo # 1. 1984 (Pre Whiplash)

Oh, this is a good one!! METAL DISCPLES demo # 1 from 1984, featuring Tony Bono (RIP) on bass guitar, before he joined WHIPLASH in 1985. This two track demo is MUCH better than i remembered it, total US metal that's massively powerful & driving, reminding me somewhat of a slower (but heavier) version of "Feel the Fire" by Overkill & the "Wage of Mayhem" demo by NASTY SAVAGE. There's no thrash here, just HEAVY powerful mid-paced, galloping metal, with soaring vocals. Ripped, restored & lovingly mastered from a 29 year old cassette tape. This one kills, seriously!

I'm glad you uploaded this.
Because i just noticed i lost my mp3 version.

Thanks a lot !!!

According to Tom Wise, the ex-singer, just like everybody around, you miss the 3rd track - Rock n Roll Child.
(My version was 2 studio tracks + 2 live tracks and i don't recall now where i got it or who shared it as it was too long ago...)...

Can you upload also the Mystique demo #2 ? (i just have 3 tracks of it).
And if in the part of the cover that you left outside of the scan there's featured the demo #1 of Mystique, could you do also a rip and a upload of the file, if i'm not asking too much...
THANKS a lot !!!!

Thank you very much for this great demo. I always wondered if they had anything other than just this demo. Maybe a good record lable that releases obscure/cult 80's steel will re-issue this demo with everything from Metal Disciples on it. "The Serpent's Tooth"kicks ass!

did not log in for about 6 months....Damn, really looking forward to this! The version on youtube and mp3s circulating that are muddy, that rip originated from a original tape I acquired and ripped about 16 years ago. I ALWAYS wanted to hear a better less muddy version and I hope this is it! These tracks fucking slay.

sounds similar but at least on Metal Attack the guitar is more prominent. I'll have to put this on a cd and listen to it through the stereo to compare to my old version. my computer speakers are shit.

Simply fantastic. Savage stuff, old metal the way I want it and want to find more of...As I mentioned in private message, really reminds me of "Power in Black" demo at times.
