I want this to be an own thread because it's an extreme case.

Recently loads of bootlegs are being sold that appear to be original including the matrix on vinyl - counterfeits of rarities and bootlegs of albums that were never pressed on vinyl before.
Undercover Records seems to be a link as it seems they were the first label that got a stock of those bootlegs (1-2 days ago), sold them as "original remainders with 100% original matrix", with prices ranging from 25€-30€. (Of course it was obvious that titles like Burzum - Aske EP or Fuck The Slayer could never be original presses).
Rumor has it it's notorious Painkiller Records. I don't know.

The list (not sure if it's complete!):

Auction text at least says "fan club release". Wouldn't surprise me if those auctions will go relatively high, though :(.

So, what's next in line!? Maybe I should collect AOR and Reggae only...

That wouldn't surprise me since this guy is a total greedy asshole. May he die in pain.

Does that mean you would've bought some of those at 25-30€ each?

If i remember correctly there was already a red vinyl bootleg of the black vinyl bootleg.

So this must make this one, a bootleg of a bootleg of a bootleg

Yeah, Fuck The Slayer too  i'm sure the absolute Slayer maniacs need to get that one, though.
Some choices just seem weird. Darkthrone tribute? Was there ever a bootleg-worthy tribute?

But how is it possible to duplicate the matrix code 1:1?
That means the pressing plant must be involved in the whole conspiracy ...

Or they just don't care. Money makes you blind etc.

Anyway, I also got this list from "Undercover Shop" with this headline: "Each LP 25,00 Euro and only available until tomorrow afternoon (22.11.2012)17:00 clock".

These must be the '90s East European released flexis. I have some Manowar ones, back from the days i collected everything Manowar related.

you can still order these directly from the bootlegger guys for 5-8€ each. production cost is probably less a cent though. they sound like damaged vinyl and the song ends after about 1:30, with a fade out or just abruptly. totally useless!
years ago i got some from mayhem, but probably every bigger selling band exists on 5" square flexi.
