Always good to have a book called "The New Wave of British Heavy Metal Encyclopedia" in such cases ...

First pressing:
Bludgeon Riffola - 1978, SRT matrix, red label, 1000 copies, first 500 copies had signed lyric insert, most with PS, recently counterfeited with reproduction PS and off-white labels, 3 trax

Second pressing:
Bludgeon Riffola - 1979, yellow label, no PS

Third pressing:
Vertigo - 1979, silver label, no PS

The EP that's often up at ebay is a bootleg, made in Greece (where else??? )

As far as i know, the bootleg was not made in Greece. I remember a seller from Greece a few years ago buying copies of the bootleg (for reselling) at a U.K. record fair. I don't know if the bootleg is pressed again but the one that circulated a few years ago was not made in Greece.

I think there were only 100 copies that came with the original foldout insert.

I sometimes collect records for a friend to ship over the big ocean and he bought one of these Def Leppard EP's last year and I started wondering why it was that cheap and with PS so I started a research and already saw on the white labels that it's a bootleg and a greek NWOBHM specialist whom I asked told me that EP has been bootlegged by a greek guy. The EP's is still up on ebay now and then. Just seen a copy 2 weeks ago. Though a real NWOBHM collector knows that an original copy with PS is unpayable nowadays. That's why I wondered.

According to the book's info I'd say yes. Hard to say if the label can be called "yellow" but according to the 2 books info the yellow edition had no PS.
I found more info about the first edition, 1000 copies made, first 500 had they lyrics insert enclosed but no word about how much had the PS.
It wopuld be helpful if anyone could post a pic of the label of the second pressing to find a definition of what's "yellow".

Then it's clear, the label in your auction is dirty white and has a PS, it's the bootleg.
