With spirits running high, will we ever die, when the sun goes down will we all be dead?

Can you hear the ?, you’re being/been hunted like a fox, ???? what you’ve done and what you’ve been?
You’ve gotta get out, you’ve gotta get out of this town
You have no chance, they’ll run you down
The end is near and life is running short,
They’ve got you cornered, you’ve been caught

High Treason, Traitor to the world
You can’t stop them, keep on running, away

I remember how it used to be, children played, the people were free
I don’t know, how did it all start,
They brought terror, they ???

I… ??? (sounds like “burn”, though that contradicts the earlier line about being hung when caught, so which is right )

you’re riding on a prayer is/if that/’s ? - I don’t know about the first part but it ends with something like ‘sight’
'Death or Life'
'We’re all then heroes'

'to live is running mad' I do hear 'is' though
'We’re spirits running high'

'Hunted by the light'
'Can you hear the march'
'They brought terror, they’ve got it all ???'

'They got me, they’re with me, they drive me through the crowd
They’re peering, they’re cheering, there’s women and children screaming'

After checking things with your suggestions in mind I think the first line must be;

"Alight, the fires in the night"

Still stuck with the rest and get frustrated playing sentences over and over and over haha

Yeah, I know, it's a bit frustrating but that's part of the challenge

I'm pretty sure I hear an 'n' right before 'heroes'

'march' makes sense as well, for the other one I'm not very positive although I can't hear a word starting with an 'r' as in 'running'. does make sense too, but...

I can't check the other few words you changed/added right now, I'll do that within the next days though
