CLOVEN HOOF - Dominator CD Reissue

Anybody who ordered this? From what I heard it is a CDR with a 4-paged booklet and no lyrics. Sounds like the job they did on the DVD. Why don't they go to a serious label and do things the right way? I don't think I'll send Mr. Payne any money this time around...

+1. I've learned my lessons after buying the ultra-crappy DVD !

That's weird, indeed, But it's a pity that such a great band doesn't respect his back catalogue ...

Thing is, that it's not another unknown 80s demo band with 2 tracks, it's Cloven Hoof and it's the fucking Dominator, most underground labels would kill to have it reissued.. I really don't know what's going on in Lee Payne's head...

Sounds strange considering Throne of Damnation EP and Definitive Part One re-recordings collection were both also self released cd's and really stellar packages. Anybody can verify this is a cheaper product?
I see Lee Payne has added a guitarist to the lineup. No word on vocalist. I wonder if Russ N is in or out at the moment.

I have the CD. Yes, it is a CDR (with one of those glossy white labels on the non-data side). The booklet is a single folded sheet with no lyrics or liner notes. I've seen much worse, but it's clearly a missed opportunity.
Much worse than that though, the mastering seems to be FUCKED! There are horrible moments of crackly distortion - I'm not highly versed in the sound of the original album as I don't have it, but I'm guessing this wasn't a problem originally?
This doesn't bode well for the Sultan's Ransom CD re-issue they are planning for a few months time...
