Here's another explanation (by Mark Briody on the Jag Panzer's facebook page):
Harry wasn't interested in continuing with the way things were going (the band not making money). I was hoping he would go the Greek show, but he said only if he was flown business class (far too expensive, so 'no'). I understand if he wants more time with his family or needs to make money, but this is not the way the band should have ended.

Why does this keep happening?
Bands I truly wanted to see live but was unable to go to their shows for various reasons, split up (or the key-member passes away) before I get to see them...
Running Wild
Dio
Now Jag Panzer

Anyone heard the latest Satan's Host album with Harry back on vocals?
Herad a few songs on youtube and I think they are just average. Your opinion?

I am 23, no car, no job and student "income", when I would have time to see Dio, the shows where either in Norway, Denmark or Göteborg (too far away for my economy) ... When I didn't have time (exams or important lectures crucial to pass a course), he would play at places where I could go.

Damn that sucks would have been great to see them live, especially if they played stuff mainly from Ample Destruction. Also seconds band this year that's disbanded that I'll never get to see live. First band was Brocas Helm would have killed to see them live

I never could get into this band after the mighty "Ample Destruction". I still have some other later albums on vinyl but can't remember them being any good. Will try again any time soon but I don't give it any hope and will probably end up selling them.

I'd agree here. The best songs of the comeback albums were the ones that were already composed in the 80s. Some praise "Thane To The Throne" for beeing more progressiv and kinda self-contained, but for me, that was not quite what i expected from the band.
See it this way, between "Casting The Stones" and the new album were seven years in between. So this already felt like a comeback album after all those years and nobody mourned in the time between. I predict that it won't take them that long before they deceided to come back for a few shows or even another album.

All the songs on COC have already been released on a double picture disc (bootleg) from the late 80s/early 90s. So COC contained nothing "new".
