The Curse of Manilla Road

This band was as great as they stayed in the shadow of other famous bands. Even today I don't know many people IRL who knows or likes them. Maybe it's not only due to chance but partly to the band that split at the end at the 80's/early 90's...
I think it's hard too choose one album that could be better than all other, but let's try.
I will go for Open The Gates because it's the most homogenic and balanced. Nevertheless I don't like "The Ninth Wave" which is really boring for me. Fortunately it's on another LP on the vinyle version hehe.
After this one I would put The Deluge and Crystal Logic.
Do you think that they deserved lots more attention than they managed to get??
Why do you think of their come back ? I prefer 1000 times their 80's era, but the new Manilla ain't so bad.
