Anyone has any vinyl that I'm still missing (80's)? Thought about any obscure 7" perhaps like that Deef and Superbox?

great I need to check over this, I see quite a few I'm not familiar with, though it looks like I have at least 1/2 of them.

That's a pretty impressive list. I can't think of too many things that I am aware of that aren't noted on that list; the few that are are definitely on the fringe.

I have another Deef 7" that's not on the list, but I don't remember it being that great, and the bootleg LP of Kat's "Bastard" that's made to look like a Pronit LP (with a PLP-666 catalogue number) is probably worth tracking down. People pay a small fortune by Polish standards for it here, but it's findable for a lot less on eBay or outside of Poland, since I think it was pressed in Germany, and I don't think anyone buys the "limited to 100" BS. I guess it's a boot and not an official release, but it's a desirable enough item for the Polish metal collector that it should probably be added to the canon.

There is also a 3xLP comp from the Jarocin festival that has Dragon, Turbo, Stos and some others on it.

I'm definitely missing a few things from that list, but some of them are a bit marginal to me. Anyways, if I find more stuff, I'll post it here, though I imagine at this point it's going to be mostly bootlegs and Tonpress 7" one-offs.

It's not. Seems they only did one proper heavy metal song in their entire career.

BTW, welcome!

I didn't even know the Destroyers LP had an English language version!

Man, the titles sound so much better in Polish...

Unfortunately the vocals/language don't. Remember the english Hammer, Kat, Turbo etc... stuff. It's terrible...I prefer polish vocals.

That Deef 7" that you have is the weak one when they were playing Heavy rock/Hard Rock. The one I have features a killer Speed Metal hammer (prohably one of the best polish Metal songs ever). Really a must to hear!

It's interesting to see an opinion from the other side. For example I have the english versions of the two Hammer albums and because I have never heard the Polish ones I really don;t know any different.

That's actually what I was saying! The English titles are totally awful, cringe-worthy. I fully agree that the Polish vocals are so much better. The translations are usually totally hamfisted and awful too, whereas the lyrics in Polish are usually decent (and in some cases excellent!)

The vocalists also sound very awkward singing in a language they often don't actually know, so all the cues and rhythm are off. I seem to recall Kostrzewski saying somewhere he didn't speak a lick of English when they recorded that material, whereas he's a rather articulate dude in Polish.
