I read in this topic:

"I know this one is incredibly expensive but how expensive is it really?"
Why is it so rare or why do people want to get it?

Are you ex member of SACRIFICE ?
Why is it so rare or why do people want to get it?
Because I can't find this 7" on local vinyl shop here in Lithuania.

Yeah, but why would people want it? Just to collect?
I read here to:
SACRIFICE - STREET FIGHTER/INNOCENT VICTIM 7" 1985
I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that this is the ultimate Swedish Metal 7" want list topper. I think it boils down to the fact that it became an 'official collector's item' relatively early and is now often seen on many old collector's all-time faves lists. It seems like every last copy sailed off to Japan, Germany or USA long ago, coz in the last 5 years I can't say I've ever seen it offered anywhere. So is it really that good? Hm, well, it's certainly very classy/classic Scanda-Metal in the same style and league as PROUD, SADWINGS and HIROSHIMA. Neither of the 2 songs are however a match for the bestest pieces of those bands, or the killer "You Better Run" from their METAL MUTHAS demo days. To deserve all that hype a 3-track EP with that last one would have been preferred.

It's hard to find, and many people are looking for it, that's why. Some people collect Swedish metal, some collect 80's metal, some collect metal in every aspect, and this falls in every category. If you have copies to sell, please contact me.

I'm not sure if I will be able to answer to this question properly due to my poor english.I think that some people want it because this SACRIFICE 7" is part of Swedish Heavy Metal history.Another part think it's great Record on Musical side.Third part collect because they must own everything ultrarare be it Metal/Punk or 70s Psychedelic Hard Rock.

I collect Swedish metal 7 inches from the 1980's. I have well over 100 private pressings. Since finding the Scratch 7" a couple of months ago, Sacrifice is my want list topper, the most obvious hole in my collection. Musically, I think the a side song "Streetfighter" is great. The song on the b side I find to be quite average.
It's hard to say what I could imagine paying for it. I'm not too keen on forking out big cash on single records anymore, mostly because in recent years my life has changed in a way that have made money less expendable... but realistically maybe 200 euros, preferably less.

Other peoples' maximum would drop drastically when they realized there was a stockpile of copies in a closet somewhere

I once saw this for sale from a dealer in California. He had already sold it to another guy for I think right about $100 U.S., this was around 1998 I think. I wanted it then but I didn't have the spare $100. I still want it. But not for 250 euro since that is still too high. But if you are selling some, I think you can rake in some good cash because a lot of guys right here on this forum want it, PM me if you decide to sell me one

It is a great record.

Yes!!!!
I have this 7"; I love the A side, is a very good song (melodic metal, with a great vocal line); for me is a very good Swedish metal 7" ( I have near 80 Swedish private pressing 7", was a great scene like the NWOBHM in uk; tons of bands and many great records).
Maybe Mordred can help me with my Swedish metal want list
