This is an album I have played over and over since I bought the LP when it was released, and I love it as much now as I did back in the late 80's.
For those who don't now about the album (I guess most people on this forum do), it's safe to just compare it to Judas Priest, but of course better.

The reason for this topic is that I hardly have seen this one mentioned on other forums. So what do you think of this one? Horrible? Average? Good? Brilliant?

The cover is easily one of the "best" I have ever seen.

I bought the two other albums, Every Dog Has It's Day and Angel Juice, later on. The debut is ok, but Angel Juice was a big letdown.

I have this one, but I can't really say I remember it as all that great. But "Svænsken" was really praising it at KIT this april. Should probably see if I can dig it out of it's retirement one of these days.

Keep in mind that both me and "Svænsken" loves the song you were singing in the shower at KIT, the one called "Riot In Everyone", so I doubt you'll like Stop This War as much as we do.

You can't go wrong with tracks like Matilda, Break Out, The Priests Are Coming or the titletrack.

I like the album. Has some nice melodies and lots of solos.

Maybe not so original or that exciting but the songs are good.

I visited their myspace (http://www.myspace.com/damienlives06) to check them out. I actually like The Politics of Pain from Angel Juice the most from those songs, despite the slight 90isms. The vocalists raspiness almost has the 90s flair, but ends up sounding more like David Wayne. :D

From what I hear I'd probably like the debut and Judas Priest more than the topic album.

I got the debut. I never was that impressed by this record except for the extremely great killer track "Posession". I need to give this a spin again to check if I might change my experience with this record. Never heard the rest by this band.
