I raved about this one in the Most Epic Songs..-thread earlier and as always it's very hard to convey the feelings of THAT unique, special & "personal" album in words. Anecdotal rants TBA..

Despite the drum-machine, this record has no affiliations what so ever with the "Industrial Metal" genre - just needed to point this out to avoid misconceptions.

I found the lyrics of the album on this site, but one the best ones were incomplete so here's the complete lyrics to the song "Dawn":

Thanks but... I don't know, is this really your fav album ever ? I guess you have some kind of "affection" matured in all these years, it's good ok (some guitar work is really fine), but the voice is boring and 'flat' and the drum machine sounds horrible ... being from 1988 it isn't actually that bad (better than Comecon albums from 90s to say the truth xD !).
The Goblin cover is nice too. In the end I should give it more plays, but for now at first hear I'd rate it 5,5 out of 10.

Great! Thanks a lot DaN for getting me aware of this absolutely fantastic album. I wouldn't go quite as far as you in naming it the best album ever but for me it certainly is an excellent hidden gem. Two quick questions DaN,
1. Is this available in CD?
2. I see that they made a few more releases after this. Any thoughts on those?

The faster tracks were killer, especially the closing "World is dead". The more mid-paced ones were OK, only "L'alba dei morti viventi" sounds a bit out of place on the album. Very good as a whole despite the limited vocal range of the singer, the monotony of the songs didn't bother me much. Thanks for the rip, Dan.

Thanks Dan, always nice to hear something new. For the most part musically however this is on some other planet than what I like my metal to be like, this is more towards punk and hardcore which I don't much care for. I liked certain parts but I could never sit through the album in one go.

My worship of this album is probably one of those things were the right record turned up at the right time - the focus is on personal in 'personal fave' here so I can totally understand if it doesn't come off as superspecial to everyone. I think I got it in 1990 and it was just so different than anything else I had heard at the time.
..and to me the drum machine works perfect, esp with the raw, monotonous vocals and those guitar solos/harmonies sprinkled over it. Frankly I can't even imagine how this would sound with real drums - they're too much a part of the overall sound to me.

The "Hyperspace" 10" EP and the "Anytime, Anywere" CD are a bit more electronic/techno-ish but they still have the same heavy guitars, raw vocals and sometimes-fast-sometimes-epic style, so fans of this debut should definitely check it out.

I've really never heard anything like this before, and I have to say I think it's really great with a wide sound, despite the aggression of the faster tracks! I'm on my second listen right now.

Thanks so much for this, this is really fun to listen to, and quite interesting. And I agree with DaN, all the elements in this album work really well with one another and I think it makes for a very solid overall sound!

Many thanks for this upload, very interesting. I didn't even knew that there were industrial metal bands around in the 80s already, huh! I took my time with this one and see now why this album appeals to you, it has it's very own atmosphere and the songs are narrowed, but well written. Only proplem is the singer, he might suite to the music, that's alright, but it's not really pleasing to hear him sing an entrie album. With the monotone sound overall, it's like they say in the IT world "it's a feature, not a bug!"
