Why does everybody always get offended then their countries/regions postal systems are criticized?
There’s a reason why so many sellers will only send packages registered to certain places.

It's not about the postal system, it's about the people, my response was to this:
it could have gotten stolen by a postal worker or something

Because the red coloured countries are the most corrupt and the green and yellow much less. You seem to life in one of the lesser corrupt countries of South America though.
And there seems to be no corruption in Sweden. Suspicious...

Don't forget about New Zeeland. In fact, we long time ago had a hole dug right through the globe so we can drop letters, records, whatever in both directions. Convenient and fast (don't ask why the stuff doesn't get stuck in the middle). Plus - we don't have to involve the rest of ye nimble-fingered & corrupted crooks.
