Ok here is the story on these 17 tracks. Back in the late 90's I acquired a big pile of 80's metal demo tapes, all original stuff. In there were the Jack the Ripper tapes, 3 or 4 of them unlabeled, etc, no jcard. If you read the insert on my official release Jack the Ripper (US) 'Back on the Attack' LP 2004 you will know these tapes were from the First Strike Records cache. Even the band didn't have them...

Anyway, what you have here are the original tape rips that the band used to remaster for vinyl the 'Back on the Attack' lp. No master tapes survive. + included is all the unreleased stuff....I never shared this stuff until all these years later, fuck it here they are...

Thanks a lot. This is one of the few Doomed Planet releases I've neither heard nor purchased. I'll give them a listen now.

Quite a 50/50 affair with half being cool and the rest just average and forgettable frankly. The best track is 'Are You Ready To Die', great riffs and solo!

Very cool on first impression. Like the aggressive sound and cleaner-sounding vocals

Just found a copy of their CD EP last week, sounds like re-done versions of some of these older songs. The store had a second copy, I probably should have picked 'em both up in case someone's interested
