Anyone know anything about this?
"on explosive rock records, 1983. po box address in columbia, south carolina. produced by ron hollins. back side of sleeve is blank. PYP lists greg metts with the song writing credit. it's surprisingly decent traditional hard rock/metal, sort of in the riot vein?"

I would certainly rip and share if I had it, but was actually asking on behalf of a guy on another board (more old hardcore/punk focus but a lot of serious metal knowledge, yet no one knew anything about this one). Will let you know if I learn more or a rip becomes available. Thanks!

I'm actually the guitar player for this band. We formed near Charleston SC in the early 80's. We opened for Molly Hatchet, Foghat, Black Oak Arkansas, and a bunch of others in the mid 80's. We were on the road for a while and some of us moved to Los Angeles and became Bad Influence. We played all over LA and Hollywood including the Whiskey, the Roxy, the Troubadour, Gazzari's, and FM Station. (you can find Bad Influence on youtube). I have a few of the old Warhead 45's if anyone is interested. I'm still playing in a couple of bands in LA and still love playing!!

Heard it before, and I like it! And the sleeve is cool, I always had a thing for "nuclear" covers.

Hi Bob- cool, thanks for posting! I never found out anything about this single even though it's from my back yard (I'm in Greenville SC; lived in Columbia for years while at USC).

I wrote a PM to you about it, but I see you haven't read it yet. Since PMs on this forum are sometimes buggy and if you can't read it - feel free to drop me a line:

Thanks for your messages and interest in my old band. I'm sorting through to see how many records I actually have left which is not many. I'll put together a little package of an old, and now embarrassing, promo picture and a copy of and article about us in Rock Scene Magazine from that time that will be included with each record. Hang in there a bit and I'll get back to you all.
Thanks!
Bob
