I've some hesitations between the first and "Killing Technology", I've voted for "Killing Technology" which is an album that I listen to almost monthly.
Btw, while doing this poll, I've checked their discography on M-A and discovered that they released a new album ("Infini") this year, does someone have heard it ? Is it good ?

Yes, I know, his death is a terrible loss for the metal, but I've read in a mag that Piggy has recorded some riffs before his death for further VOIVOD releases, did they used those riffs for this album ?

im not sure, but that may have been the case for Katorz...i saw Voivod live some weeks ago and they sounded good, but that guitarrist (dont know the name) certainly has a different style, other than that, was great to see the original members

Both "Infini" and "Katorz" contain music Piggy had written and stocked onto his computer. Before he died he told the other bandmembers to check that stuff. I think both are good albums. All Piggy's music has been used now, so Voïvod's future is a bit uncertain. Ironically, because I think they've never been as popular as now...
As I'm a BIG fan of Voïvod, it's very hard to pick a favourite. I like their raw stuff, their technical stuff, their later 'rock' stuff, the very underrated 'Forrest'-albums (especially "Phobos"!)... The only albums I like a bit less are "Rrröööaaarrr" (a let down in comparison with the debut, songwise), "Kronik" (but that's not really an album...) and "Voïvod" (don't like Snake's voice on that one, and the songs are boring imo). My favourites differ from time to time, but through the years I've put on "Dimension Hatröss" the most, so I voted for that one.

Dimension Hatross is the most all around interesting Voivod album IMO, and even though I love everything up to and including Nothingface, this album just has everything I like about them.

I saw them live earlier this year and they said they'd be back, so I guess they'll keep on playing, even if it's going to be less regular.
I voted for Killing Technology, from the albums I have it's the one I like the most. I need to give the debut a listen, it's been quite a while since I last listened to it.

Too hard to pick just one album from the canon of this great band. They moved through so many different styles throughout their career without ever losing their identity. Regardless of how primitive/technical/psychedelic etc they played they always sounded like Voivod. Can't say that about too many bands can you?
For me the landmark albums were "W & P", "KT", "DH", "NF" and "VV", but they all have much to recommend them, although the trio era was a bit of a low point to my ears. Although they were still great live at that point, the songwriting seemed to suffer after Blackie, then Snake, departed.

This is one band that I've always overlooked throughout the years. I've only ever heard "War And Pain" and "Killing Technology" and can't say that this band is a huge favourite of mine due to the overtly raw material. I'll have to give the other albums a shot one day.

I have all the LP:s up to 'Nothingface', but it's not a band I like much to be honest...
